Our Pet Care Services
When your beloved pet gets sick or in need of emergency or wellness care you want a reliable and trusted animal hospital and team to turn to. Our caring staff at Daleville Animal Hospital has earned a reputation for our professionalism, quality of care, and wide range of services.
Wellness care is all about keeping your pet happy and healthy between their regular check-ups. Whether that’s finding the proper flea and tick medication, heart worm preventive, vaccinations or finding a diet that works with their system. If it helps your pet, then we want to help you learn the ins and outs of how to provide it.
We also like to make sure that they are scheduled for and attending their physical exams, because sometimes the best way to stay out of the doctor’s office, is to step into the doctor’s office.
Ultrasounds are another non-invasive way for veterinarians to examine your pet’s internal organs, muscle, and bone structure. Alongside it’s use during pregnancy exams, this procedure can help to assist in diagnosing problems without costlier and invasive methods.
Losing track of your pet’s whereabouts is not an uncommon occurrence. Luckily, via a quick microchip implant, the odds of you being reunited with a lost pet are drastically increased.
Dental care for your cat or dog is just as important as it is to you. We use the latest and safest technologies to clean above and below your pet’s gum line, and leave a nice healthy coat of polish on them to delay future accumulation of plaque on their teeth. We do recommend pre-anesthetic lab work. Anesthesia is quality monitored by an experienced staff and modern monitoring equipment.
Digital radiology is an advanced form of x-ray imaging that uses digital x-ray sensors instead of photographic film. This allows a speedier development and achieving a better diagnosis.
Although some pets are fond of cleaning themselves, and do so often, there’s no substitute for a thorough professional cleaning. Whether your pet is in need of a medicinal bath with special shampoos, or a simple soapy scrub-a-dub-dub, they will be returned to you clean and dry.
All of our equipment and practice are industry standard and are held to the highest quality.
We do most surgery procedures needed by pets including orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. If we feel an animal needs a specialist, we can refer you to Auburn University or Southern Regional Veterinary Specialists in Dothan.

We're pleased to offer the following services at Daleville Animal Hospital:
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Because a large number of veterinarians practice at Daleville Animal Hospital, we can care for many types of pets:
