Dr. Bain graduated from Auburn University’s School of Veterinary Medicine and spent 2 years in the US Air Force as a base veterinarian. He practiced in Dothan, Alabama from 1976 until 2010 when he sold his former practice, Southeast Alabama Veterinary Hospital. He continued to work there part-time until August of 2015 when he purchased what is now Daleville Animal Hospital. Dr. Bain strives to provide compassionate competent care for your pets.

Christa Parrish-Ahrens, DVM is our new Partner Owner of Daleville Animal Hospital. Dr. Parrish-Ahrens is a practicing clinician and surgeon at our Hospital, and also helps oversee the operations, procedures and medical care of the practice. She has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for 12+ years, with experience in both small and large animal medicine and surgery, emergency medicine and surgery, and practice management.
Elaine hails all the way from South Africa. She has been living in Alabama for 5 years now with her family and 4 dogs. Her love for animals made her adopt her 2 most recent dogs, Bailey, and Chloe who were both surrendered to the Daleville Animal Hospital.
Liz PassmoreLead Veterinary Assistant
Liz is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and has recently moved to Alabama. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Animal Science. Previous to joining the veterinary field she worked as an animal trainer with exotic animals. Her passion for veterinary medicine encouraged her to go back to school for her Veterinary Technician License. In her free time she enjoys trying to keep up with her toddler and two dogs.
Hanna was born and raised in Chancellor Alabama. She studied business in college but later found her passion for animals. She has been working here at Daleville Animal Hospital since February of 2016.
Amanda is originally from Texas and moved to Alabama recently. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education, but has recently gone back to school for Veterinary Assisting because of her love for animals.
In her spare time she enjoys spending active time with her husband and two fur-babies.
Jennifer BarnesKennel Technician / Nurse
Jennifer is from Pensacola, FL and joined the Daleville Animal Hospital team in August 2019. She had a passion for animals since she was little. She attended college and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant. Outside of Daleville Animal Hospital Jennifer helps her husband with a family chicken farm. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 5 children and 4 dogs.

Lydia has lived her whole life in the military. She has traveled the world and has been exposed to many cultures. She moved to the Fort Rucker area two years ago and joined the Daleville Animal Hospital team in September 2019.

Annette is originally from Germany, and with a detour via The Netherlands ended up in Alabama. She has always had a soft touch for animals. Shortly after her move to the US she started working part-time at the animal hospital. After a brief break in 2003 to 2006 when she managed the local no-kill animal shelter, she returned to the clinic in a managing role.
